Cannabidiol and cannabigerol effect on cognitive deficit induced by intracerebroventricular administration of amyloid beta 42 in experimental Alzheimer's disease model
About the study
This study examined cannabidiol (CBD) and cannabigerol (CBG) in an experimental Alzheimer's disease model induced by intracerebroventricular administration of Aβ₁₋₄₂. Behavioral tests, inflammatory marker measurements in the hippocampus and cortex, and immunohistochemistry were used.
These are findings from an experimental animal model, not evidence of treatment efficacy for Alzheimer's disease in humans.
